Mrs.LJHall and Miss Cherry Red have decided to put me under the spotlight by tagging me in this meme where I have to answer 10 probing questions for you all, so I’m actually answering 20 because they both asked different questions!
1. Which (in)famous person (alive or dead) would you like to take out to dinner, where would you go and what would you like to talk about?
Oh this is though! I’d love to go to dinner with Reese Witherspoon so she can give me tips on being the perfect wife/mother/women because she’s amazing! I imagine we’d go to a small, quiet Italian or something, nowhere flashy, and chat over wine. Of course we’d get on famously and be best friends for life!
2. What is the best gift someone could give you (tangible please)?
A good hug!
(In an ideal world though a diamond ring or some other equally expensive jewellery! 
)
3. Where in the world would you most like to live?
The suburbs somewhere in Britain. Somewhere with a big house, a large garden, a white picket fence, a local school where all the parents are lovely and have tea and lunches together.
If I had to be abroad it’d be either Russia or America.
4. What do you most enjoy cooking?
Anything that isn’t curry, the smell makes me heave!
5. What is your favourite novel?
Hmmm…if I was forced to name one (which I am!) I think it’d be Beloved by Toni Morrison. I read it as part of my A-level in English Literature and it was incredible.
6. You have your own personal Tardis, where do you go first?
Much like Mrs.LJHall (who tagged me) I would go back to when I first met my ex and rather than chatting to him when he struck up conversation I would punch him, tell him he is an evil, twisted boy who will burn in hell. (I may do more than punch but it’s probably not wise to post that!)
Too mean? I’d go forward in time to when we have a cure for cancer, then take it back and cure my Dad.
7. How old is the inner you?
About mid 40s, as it has been since I was about 17!
8. Theatre or Cinema?
Theatre, hands down, every time. I have a huge list of plays I want to see. I haven’t been in far too long but I love it. Oh someone take me out to the theatre!
9. Would you be famous, with all that means?
No.

10. You are able to learn anything at all, a skill, a language, whatever, what would it be and why?
How to dress. But can you learn that kind of natural “what looks good”?
1. Are you a meticulous planner?
Yes! I love to plan, I use google calendar which syncs to my blackberry via facebook, a calendar on my lounge wall and a filofax! I would plan every single day for the rest of my life if I could!
2. Do you wear make up and if so how much and how often
Yes, I don’t go out without it! Concealer, mousse foundation and powder foundation as a base, then eye shadow, eye liner, mascara and lip gloss.
3. What, if anything, do you wear in bed?
Knickers and if it’s cold a nightie.
4. Look over your right shoulder, what do you see?
My stairs, my phone table and a bookcase!
5. If you had to take a random item to an interview to help describe you, what would it be?
A rainbow slinky (bear with me on this one!): it’s multi coloured, like me! But it’s also quite fragile…and falls down stairs?! Hmmm….
6. What film would you have liked a staring role in?
Bugger, Miss Cherry Red already said Dirty Dancing! So I’m going to pick…Legally Blonde! (Failing that SATC)
7. Jimmy Stewart or Cary Grant
Ok, I’m going to admit I had to google these and…they look identical!
8. Do you swear in front of children
Nope, mostly because I am child free!
9. Do you knit or sew or do any other ‘womanly’ craft?
Theoretically I can knit: I was taught in primary school.
Theoretically I can sew: I can sew up a hole in my trousers or a button on something but nothing special.
I’d love to do both though, I’d especially love to be able to make my own dresses.
10. Twitter or Facebook
Twitter! I do use both but to be honest, facebook sucks! If it wasn’t the only way to keep up with some of my friends around the country I wouldn’t be on it any more.

2) Your TV is stuck and will only play one thing (TV series, film, whatever), what would you pick? (You can’t buy a new one!)
3) (Stealing this one!) You have your own personal Tardis, where would you go and what would you do?
4) You’ve suddenly been gifted with all the intelligence/skills you need to do your dream job, what is it?
5) What one piece of futuristic technology would you like right now?
6) Describe your ideal date to me (it can be with a partner or just a friend if you prefer).
7) You can hire a household helper for any purpose, but they will only do one thing, what would you have them do?
There’s going to a movie made of your life! Who would play you, who’d play the other main character and what would the main plot line be? (Would it be a box office smash?!)
9) You get a phone call from the Master of the Universe (the Goddess/God/whoever you believe in), they want to make some changes, what do you suggest?
10) And finally…there are two identical looking (wo)men: one is rich, will provide you everything you want but you have nothing in common. The other you hit it off with straight away but is poor and intends to remain that way. Which do you marry and why? (Yes you have to pick one!)

1) My good friend is a cosmetic surgeon and is offering one free treatment to each of you, what would you change and why? (You can refuse if you’re perfect!) would have to be my belly. I have other things but my belly is what I dislike the most.
2) Your TV is stuck and will only play one thing (TV series, film, whatever), what would you pick? (You can’t buy a new one!) would have to be The Commitments. I love the film and soundtracks so much. I can’t help singing along to them.
3) You have your own personal Tardis, where would you go and what would you do? Leave my ex wife before she had an affair with my best mate.
4) You’ve suddenly been gifted with all the intelligence/skills you need to do your dream job, what is it? Knowledge and confidence in that field to push and succeed instead of being stuck at the bottom of the ladder.
5) What one piece of futuristic technology would you like right now? Teleporter like in Star Trek.
6) Describe your ideal date to me (it can be with a partner or just a friend if you prefer). Zippy as this sounds, my partner is my ideal date. She’s funny, attentive, caring and loving.
7) You can hire a household helper for any purpose, but they will only do one thing, what would you have them do? Would have to clean house top to bottom. Does that qualify as one thing? If not, ironing.
There’s going to a movie made of your life! Who would play you, who’d play the other main character and what would the main plot line be? (Would it be a box office smash?! I can only think either Jimmy Nail or Robson Green. Both Geordies and can understand what life in the North East of England is / can be like. Of course it would be a smash as people love us Geordies.
9) You get a phone call from the Master of the Universe (the Goddess/God/whoever you believe in), they want to make some changes, what do you suggest? To make the uk more like a nice foreign country. Scrap poverty and unemployment, but I suppose there has to be a bit to keep things in order.
10) And finally…there are two identical looking (wo)men: one is rich, will provide you everything you want but you have nothing in common. The other you hit it off with straight away but is poor and intends to remain that way. Which do you marry and why? (Yes you have to pick one!) it would be great to have loads of money but the relationship wouldn’t last. I would go for the one with no money. I always prefer the person inside rather than what they have.
